Our mission is to document
a moment of time for the individual. Whether the model is fit, toned,
pregnant, or just wants to show off some assets, we’ll create
the cast.
Detroit Body Casting takes pride and views it’s work first and
foremost as artistic to represent the body in the form of a stoneware
or ceramic piece of wall art. Detroit Body Casting consists of individuals
who have earned degrees in art education, marketing and business administration.

Detroit Body
Casting focuses on creating warm, cozy and comfortable settings
for castings. Our process is two part. First we create a cast from
the model. Then we take the cast and fill with clay to create a
mold which is a positive repsentation from the original cast. It’s
kiln fired and readied for the surface treatment choices. Glazes
or paint schemes are applied and the product is ready to display
on your wall.
